About me

Born in Belgium, I’ve spent over thirty years living in England, France, Germany and South Korea. Each country has been a journey: an invitation to adapt, reinvent myself and find new balance with my surroundings.

It was in South Korea, almost by chance, that yoga entered my life. What could have remained just a physical activity quickly became a passion. After becoming a yoga teacher, I completed my training  in yoga therapy at the Institute of Yoga Therapy (IYT, Amsterdam). Through this accredited program, I developed an in-depth understanding of the human body, common pathologies, and the psychosocial dimensions of health, enabling me to adapt practices to support each person’s well-being and therapeutic needs.

Since returning to Brussels in 2024, I offer yoga and yoga therapy sessions in French and English in local studios, at my home or clients’ homes in the south of Brussels, as well as online.

I also serve as a board member of the Belgian Association of Yoga Therapists (BAYT) and an active member of the NGO  YogaSanté, promoting yoga within the healthcare sector.

Why Naturopathy
What is yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy is a holistic and structured approach to supporting health and well-being, rooted in the principles and practices of yoga. It uses yoga in an individualised and therapeutic context, within a safe, confidential and supportive relationship.

It combines traditional yoga practices—such as postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation and visualisation—with an informed understanding of anatomy, physiology and the nervous system. It also considers how physical, emotional and psychological factors interact and influence our health.

Yoga therapy can be adapted to the individual needs, health conditions and limitations of each person, bringing together the depth of yoga with relevant knowledge from contemporary health sciences.

Yoga therapy is a professional field regulated at the international level by leading organisations such as the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), which define its standards of practice and training.  The Belgian Association of Yoga Therapists (BAYT) was established in 2025 to promote and raise awareness of the profession among the general public and healthcare professionals.

Who is it for?

Yoga therapy is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or physical condition and requires no prior experience with yoga. It can support you whether you’re living with chronic pain, auto-immune conditions, or simply feeling confused and emotionally drained.

What to expect?
  • An initial intake and assessment to understand your needs, health history, and goals.

  • Compassionate support offered in a safe, respectful, and confidential space.

  • Personalised practices adapted to your unique situation and evolving needs.

  • Practical tools and strategies to help you manage your long-term health independently.

While the practices focus on easing your symptoms, they are always integrated into a global approach to promote coherence and well-being.

Stress issues

Burnout, anxiety, and panic attacks are all stress-related conditions, and the differences between them can sometimes feel unclear.

However, each one requires a specific and tailored approach to help restore inner trust and rebuild both mental and physical resilience.

Women's health

Women’s health encompasses a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional changes, making a personalised approach essential.

Developing practices to relieve pain, as well as to better understand and anticipate the effects of menopause, can help navigate this transition.

Pain management

A safe approach is also a pain-free approach. It uses techniques that help release tension created by pain, alongside restorative practices that support recovery.

In the context of chronic or autoimmune conditions, or cancer treatments, practices can be carefully adapted to support pain management as well as the physical and emotional impacts.

Mobility

Musculoskeletal pain requires both a targeted practice to relieve and strengthen the body, as well as a holistic approach that considers the interconnections between physical and emotional dimensions.

Cardio & neurovascular issues

Cardiovascular conditions require appropriate precautions and an adapted, mindful practice. Supporting the vagus nerve through various technics can help calm symptoms  (headaches, migraines, blood pressure, etc).

Sleep and fatigue

Sleep issues can be both a cause and a consequence of other health or lifestyle factors.

Observing patterns, introducing adapted relaxation techniques, and building supportive routines can create positive change and help restore deeper, more restorative rest.

Digestion

The digestive system is closely linked to the brain and the nervous system, influencing digestion, stress, and overall well-being.

Creating abdominal space, stimulating digestion, activating the “rest and digest” system, identifying triggers, and establishing new habits are simple techniques that can quickly bring relief.

Testimonials

Yoga therapy has been a transformative experience for me. From the very first session, Chantal impressed me with her knowledge and approach. She took the time to understand my specific needs and tailored each session to address my health challenges. The personalised physical postures and breathing exercises have greatly improved my posture. Additionally, the mindfulness and relaxation techniques have significantly reduced my anxiety levels, allowing me to feel more centered and calm in my everyday life. Chantal creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where I feel comfortable exploring and improving my physical and mental health. Her expertise and positive energy make every session both effective and enjoyable.
