Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is defined as the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to support health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship. It is a complementary and holistic approach that supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Yoga therapy does not constitute medical care and is not intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Clients are encouraged to consult and continue working with qualified healthcare professionals for any medical or psychological condition.
2. Therapeutic Relationship & Scope of Practice
Yoga therapy sessions are client-centred and may include practices such as physical postures, breathing techniques, relaxation, visualisation, and body–mind awareness. Practices are adapted to the individual’s needs, capacity, and life context.
The yoga therapist works within a professional scope of practice aligned with the ethical standards of the British Association of Yoga Therapists (BAYT) and the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). No medical diagnosis is made, and no medical treatment or prescription is provided.
3. Client Responsibility & Informed Participation
Yoga therapy is a collaborative process. Clients agree to:
Share relevant information regarding their health and well-being
Participate at their own pace and within their comfort zone
Take responsibility for listening to their body and stopping any practice that causes pain, dizziness, or distress
Yoga therapy should not be practised in cases of acute illness, severe pain, or medical emergency without appropriate medical guidance.
4. Individual Outcomes
Each person’s experience of yoga therapy is unique. While yoga therapy may support improved awareness, resilience, and well-being, no specific outcomes or results can be guaranteed.
5. Sessions, Appointments & Cancellations
Sessions are offered by appointment only and confirmed by mutual agreement.
Clients are kindly asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged, unless otherwise agreed in exceptional circumstances.
6. Fees & Payment
Fees, payment methods, and timing are agreed upon in advance. All prices are indicated in euros (€). Any changes to fees will be communicated clearly and in advance.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal information shared during yoga therapy sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality, in accordance with professional ethical standards and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is used solely for the purpose of providing yoga therapy services and will not be shared without consent, except where required by law. Clients have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their personal data.

8. Online Content & Educational Resources
Any online material (videos, written content, breathing practices, downloadable resources) is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Clients and users are responsible for adapting practices to their own needs and for discontinuing any practice that causes discomfort or concern.
9. Professional Boundaries & Limitation of Liability
Yoga therapy is offered within clear professional boundaries and ethical guidelines. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, the practitioner cannot be held responsible for injury or harm resulting from practices undertaken without appropriate self-awareness, adaptation, or medical guidance.
10. Governing Law
